3. These Terms
3.1 These terms and conditions of business ("Terms") apply when you buy or sell goods with us or use any of our services. Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order, as they contain important information about your rights and obligations and ours.
3.2 You must agree to these Terms before placing an order with us.
3.3 Any reference to "we", "us" or "our" in these Terms means Solomon Global Limited. Any reference to "you" or "your" means the person placing an order with us or otherwise using our services.
3.4 You must be at least 18 years old to place an order with us.
4. Please Note
4.1 Precious metals and cancellation rights
Precious metals are subject to fluctuations in financial markets outside our control. As explained further in clause 12, the normal statutory right to cancel a distance or off-premises consumer contract does not apply where the price of the goods is dependent on fluctuations in the financial market which we cannot control and which may occur during the cancellation period.
This does not affect any statutory rights you may have where goods are faulty, misdescribed or otherwise do not conform with the contract.
4.2 Important provisions
We particularly draw your attention to:
4.2.1 clause 10, which explains how our prices work, including the effect of precious metals market movements and when an agreed price becomes fixed;
4.2.2 clause 12, which explains cancellation rights and the costs that may arise where an order is cancelled;
4.2.3 clause 14, which explains your responsibilities in relation to delivery; and
4.2.4 this clause 4, which explains the risks associated with purchasing and owning physical precious metals.
4.3 No financial, tax or investment advice
We specialise in the supply of physical gold and silver for private ownership.
We do not provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice, whether generally or for the purposes of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) Order 2001, as amended.
The purchase and holding of physical precious metals is not, in itself, a regulated activity for the purposes of Financial Conduct Authority regulation, and Solomon Global is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority to provide regulated investment advice.
Any information we provide is general in nature. You should carry out your own research and, where appropriate, seek independent financial, tax, accounting and/or legal advice.
4.4 Precious metals may rise or fall in value
You acknowledge that the value of gold, silver and other precious metals can rise or fall.
Market prices may be affected by factors including supply and demand, economic conditions, interest rates, currency movements and geopolitical events.
Historical performance is not a guarantee of future performance, and you may receive less when selling your goods than the amount you originally paid for them.
4.5 Recommended holding period
Our physical precious metal products are intended primarily for medium- to long-term ownership.
We recommend that customers purchase our products with the intention of holding them for a minimum of five years.
This five-year period is a general holding-period guideline and is not personalised financial or investment advice. It is also not a contractual minimum period that prevents you from selling your goods earlier.
Customers should nevertheless understand that selling shortly after purchase may increase the likelihood of receiving less than the original purchase price, particularly where the purchase price included a premium above the underlying precious metal value.
A five-year holding period does not guarantee a profit, an increase in value or the recovery of the original purchase price.
Buying Precious Metals From Us
Clauses 5 to 17 apply when you purchase precious metals or related goods from us.
5. Orders
5.1 Please check the details of your proposed order carefully and correct any errors before confirming it.
5.2 Online orders
If you place an order online, we will send you an acknowledgement confirming that we have received your order.
An acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that we have accepted your order. Your order constitutes an offer to purchase the relevant goods from us on these Terms.
5.3 Telephone and adviser-assisted orders
Where an order is arranged by telephone, email or through an account manager, we may first provide you with a cost estimate or pro forma invoice.
Prices shown on an estimate or pro forma invoice are based on prevailing precious metals market conditions at the time they are issued.
Unless and until the price becomes fixed in accordance with clause 10.5, we reserve the right to amend the price in line with market movements where payment is not received within a reasonable period or within any payment period specifically notified to you.
5.4 Acceptance and order confirmation
Unless we expressly agree otherwise, acceptance of your order takes place when we send you an order confirmation by email or other durable medium. At that point a legally binding contract is formed between you and us on these Terms.
Where we have received a deposit of at least 10% of the total order value before issuing the order confirmation, the agreed price will nevertheless be treated as fixed in accordance with clause 10.5.
5.5 Before an order has been accepted, we may decline it for a legitimate reason, including where:
(a) the goods are unavailable;
(b) we cannot verify or authorise payment;
(c) you have not satisfied our identification, anti-money-laundering or compliance requirements;
(d) you are under 18;
(e) there has been an obvious pricing or product-description error;
(f) accepting the order would cause us to breach applicable law or regulation; or
(g) another circumstance means that we cannot reasonably fulfil the order.
If we have received money from you for an order that we subsequently do not accept, we will return the amount due to you, subject to any lawful deduction permitted by these Terms.
6. Availability
6.1 All orders are subject to availability.
6.2 We cannot guarantee that every product will remain available at all times.
6.3 In circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including changes in law or circumstances affecting the lawful supply of particular goods, we may need to stop supplying a product.
If this affects an order that we are unable to fulfil, we will contact you and, where appropriate, refund sums paid for goods that cannot be supplied.
7. Making Changes To Your Order
7.1 If you would like to change an order after submitting it, please contact us as soon as possible.
7.2 We will tell you whether the requested change is possible and whether it affects the price, availability, delivery period or any other aspect of the order.
7.3 Precious metals prices fluctuate. A change requested by you may therefore require the order to be repriced.
8. Product Descriptions
8.1 Descriptions of our goods are provided on our website, in our catalogue, quotations, invoices and other sales material.
8.2 Please read product descriptions carefully before purchasing.
8.3 Photographs and images of goods and their packaging are for illustrative purposes unless expressly stated otherwise. The precise appearance of the goods, packaging, year, finish or other characteristics may vary where the product description permits such variation.
9. Graded Gold
9.1 Graded gold products ("Graded Gold") are coins or other products that have been authenticated and graded by an independent professional grading organisation using recognised grading standards, including the 70-point Sheldon Coin Grading Scale where applicable.
9.2 Coin grading involves the professional opinion of an independent third-party grading organisation. Grading standards and interpretations may develop or change over time.
Where a coin has been independently certified at a particular grade, the grade stated by us reflects the grade assigned by the relevant grading organisation at the time of certification. We cannot guarantee that another grading organisation, or the same organisation at a later date, would necessarily assign the same grade if the product were resubmitted.
9.3 Graded products may be sold at a premium above their underlying precious metal value. That premium may reflect factors including:
(a) professional grading and authentication;
(b) secure encapsulation;
(c) grade and condition;
(d) rarity;
(e) availability;
(f) provenance;
(g) collector demand; and
(h) other product-specific characteristics.
There is no guarantee that any such premium will be maintained or increase over time.
9.4 If you purchase Graded Gold from us, you acknowledge that your order may be subject to a longer delivery period where goods need to be obtained, submitted to or returned from an independent grading organisation.
9.5 Where we have expressly agreed to supply a particular certified grade, we will use reasonable endeavours to supply the product at the agreed grade.
If we are unable to supply the agreed product or grade, we will contact you before delivery and discuss the available options, which may include:
9.5.1 an alternative product of a lower value together with an appropriate refund or credit for the difference;
9.5.2 an alternative product of a higher value, subject to your agreement to pay the difference;
9.5.3 an alternative product of equivalent value; or
9.5.4 where appropriate, cancellation and refund of the affected product, in accordance with clause 12.
9.6 Choosing an alternative product may result in a longer delivery period.
10. Prices
10.1 Prices for our goods are displayed on our website or communicated to you by telephone, email, quotation, estimate, pro forma invoice or invoice.
Unless otherwise stated, prices are expressed in pounds sterling (GBP).
Any applicable delivery charges, taxes or other mandatory charges will be communicated as required before your order is confirmed.
10.2 Precious metals market movements
The price of gold, silver and other precious metals can change rapidly.
Prices displayed or quoted before an order price has been fixed are therefore subject to change in accordance with prevailing market conditions.
10.3 Pricing errors
If there has been an obvious or genuine error in a price communicated to you, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.
Where legally permitted, we may give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the affected order.
Nothing in this clause allows us to change an agreed price simply because normal precious metals market movements have subsequently made the transaction less favourable to us once the price has become fixed under clause 10.5.
10.4 Estimates and pro forma invoices
Prices shown on estimates and pro forma invoices are based on prevailing market conditions at the time of issue.
Before we receive a deposit of at least 10% of the total order value, if payment is not received within a reasonable period or within a specific period notified to you, we reserve the right to amend the price to reflect movements in the relevant precious metals market.
Where a revised price is required, we will communicate it to you.
10.5 Price fixing following a deposit
Once we receive a deposit equal to 10% or more of the total order value, the agreed price for that order is fixed.
Once the price is fixed under this clause, we will not cancel or reprice the trade solely because the price of gold, silver or another relevant precious metal subsequently rises or falls.
The remaining balance remains payable in accordance with the payment terms communicated to you.
This clause does not prevent cancellation, correction or other action where permitted under these Terms for reasons unrelated to ordinary market movements, including an obvious pricing error, illegality, fraud, failure to satisfy compliance requirements, or another circumstance in which the law permits or requires the order not to proceed.
10.6 Except as expressly provided in these Terms, subsequent changes to our general prices will not affect an order whose price has already been fixed under clause 10.5.
11. Payment
11.1 We accept payment using the methods communicated to you, which may include debit card and bank transfer.
11.2 Depending on the nature of your order, we may require:
(a) a deposit;
(b) part-payment; or
(c) payment in full.
The relevant payment requirements will be shown on your estimate, pro forma invoice, invoice or otherwise communicated to you.
11.3 Where we receive a deposit of at least 10% of the total order value, the price becomes fixed as explained in clause 10.5.
11.4 Bank transfers
Bank transfers must be sent to the bank account specified on the relevant invoice or otherwise confirmed by us.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, payments should be made from an account held in your name or from another source that we have approved following any necessary compliance checks.
11.5 The outstanding balance must be paid within the timeframe stated on your invoice or otherwise notified to you.
11.6 If payment is not received when due, we will normally attempt to contact you.
Subject to these Terms and applicable law, continued failure to pay may result in the order being treated as cancelled or in us exercising any other contractual right available to us.
Any amount payable as a consequence of cancellation will be determined in accordance with clause 12.
12. Cancellation Rights
12.1 Statutory cooling-off right
Under regulation 28(1)(a) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the normal statutory cancellation right does not apply to the supply of goods where the price is dependent on fluctuations in the financial market which cannot be controlled by the trader and which may occur during the cancellation period.
Precious metals prices are subject to such market fluctuations.
Accordingly, where this exception applies, you do not have the normal statutory cooling-off right to cancel a precious metals order simply because you have changed your mind.
This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, misdescribed or otherwise do not conform with the contract.
12.2 Customer-requested cancellation
Although you may not have a statutory right to cancel, if you ask us to cancel an order before dispatch, or while goods are on pre-order, we may agree to do so.
Where an order is cancelled at your request, or is treated as cancelled because of your breach of these Terms, you may be responsible for the reasonable losses and costs directly caused by that cancellation.
These may include, where applicable:
12.2.1 Grading costs
Reasonable grading or submission charges that we have already become committed to paying in relation to your goods.
For graded gold, this may include a grading charge where that cost has actually been incurred or irrevocably committed.
12.2.2 Precious metal price movements
A reasonable fluctuation adjustment reflecting any loss caused by a movement in the applicable precious metal price between the time we acquired or committed to acquire the goods for your order and the time the cancellation is processed.
Any favourable market movement will be taken into account when calculating our actual net loss.
12.2.3 Administrative and transaction costs
Reasonable administration, transaction, payment-processing, delivery or other costs directly incurred by us because of the cancelled order.
12.2.4 Failed delivery
Where an order is treated as cancelled following unsuccessful delivery caused by your failure to comply with your delivery obligations, reasonable return delivery and associated costs actually incurred by us.
12.3 We will take reasonable steps to mitigate our losses.
We will not seek to recover the same loss twice, and any cancellation amount charged will be limited to losses and costs that we are legally entitled to recover.
12.4 Where you have already paid us, any valid cancellation costs may be deducted from the amount otherwise refundable to you.
12.5 Any balance due to you will normally be returned using the original payment method unless we agree another method with you.
12.6 If you are considering requesting cancellation, you may contact us before doing so and ask us to explain the likely financial consequences based on market conditions and costs at that time.
13. Money Laundering and Identification Requirements
13.1 We are required to undertake identity verification and other compliance checks in certain circumstances.
13.2 We may ask you to provide photographic identification, proof of address, information about the source of funds or wealth, or other documentation reasonably required for legal or compliance purposes.
13.3 We may also verify your identity through an electronic identity-verification service.
13.4 If you do not provide information or documentation reasonably required for compliance purposes, we may be unable to proceed with your order and may have the right to cancel it.
13.5 Requests for delivery to an address other than your normal billing address may be subject to additional verification requirements.
14. Delivery
14.1 We will deliver your order to the address agreed with you.
Unless we have expressly agreed otherwise, for deliveries other than to an approved storage facility, the delivery address must match the billing or otherwise verified address associated with the order.
14.2 It is your responsibility to enable and accept delivery, including complying with reasonable requirements communicated by us or the relevant delivery provider.
This includes, where appropriate:
(a) notifying the intended recipient of the expected delivery;
(b) ensuring an authorised recipient is available;
(c) safeguarding any tracking information; and
(d) inspecting the parcel for evidence of damage or tampering before accepting it.
14.3 If a parcel shows clear signs of damage or tampering at the point of delivery, you should, where reasonably possible, reject the delivery and contact us immediately.
14.4 If we or our courier cannot complete delivery because you have not complied with your delivery obligations, we may arrange redelivery or, where reasonable, treat the order as cancelled.
Reasonable costs arising from failed delivery may be dealt with in accordance with clause 12.
14.5 Please tell us promptly if a delivery is not received when reasonably expected.
14.6 You should inspect, or arrange for someone to inspect, the goods as soon as reasonably possible following delivery and notify us promptly of any fault, shortage, damage or apparent tampering.
14.7 Risk and ownership
Risk in the goods passes to you when the goods have been delivered to you or to a person or location properly authorised by you to receive them.
Ownership of the goods passes to you once we have received payment in full.
Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods.
14.8 We will provide information about available delivery options and any applicable charges before confirming the relevant delivery arrangement.
14.9 Unless we have expressly guaranteed a specific delivery date, delivery dates and periods communicated by us are estimates.
14.10 Graded products
Orders containing Graded Gold may take longer to fulfil because of availability, certification, grading or logistics involving independent grading organisations.
Where a graded product is not expressly stated to be in stock, customers should generally allow a minimum of 28 days for delivery, although actual delivery times may be shorter or longer depending on the circumstances.
14.11 We will use reasonable efforts to fulfil your order within any estimated delivery period.
We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, although we will contact you where reasonably possible if a material delay occurs.
15. Storage
15.1 Unless we expressly agree otherwise under a separate written arrangement, Solomon Global does not itself provide customers with storage services.
15.2 At your request, we may introduce you to an independent storage provider and/or arrange for goods to be delivered to an independent storage facility.
15.3 Any storage agreement is between you and the relevant storage provider and may be subject to that provider's own onboarding, identification, insurance and contractual requirements.
15.4 Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, our role is limited to making the introduction and/or arranging delivery.
We are not responsible for acts or omissions of an independent storage provider, except to the extent that loss is directly caused by our own breach, negligence or another liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Faulty Goods and Consumer Rights
16.1 We are under a legal duty to supply goods that conform with the contract.
16.2 Where applicable, goods supplied to consumers must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for any particular purpose that forms part of the contract.
16.3 If you believe goods supplied by us are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise do not conform with the contract, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
16.4 Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer law.
17. Import Taxes and Fees
17.1 If goods are delivered outside the United Kingdom, you are responsible for checking whether customs duties, import taxes, fees or other charges apply.
17.2 Unless expressly included in the agreed purchase price, you are responsible for charges imposed by foreign customs or other relevant authorities after the goods leave the United Kingdom.
Buy Back - Selling Precious Metals Back To Us
Clauses 18 to 21 apply where you ask us to purchase precious metals from you.
18. Buy Back Contract
18.1 You may contact us by telephone or email to ask whether we are willing to buy precious metal goods from you.
We are not obliged to purchase goods from you.
18.2 If we are interested in purchasing the goods, we may provide an indicative or conditional price based on the information available to us.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, any price offered before physical inspection is subject to the goods being received and meeting the expected description, authenticity, grade, condition and quantity.
18.3 Once we receive and inspect the goods, we will confirm whether we accept them at the quoted price or make a revised offer where appropriate.
18.4 A binding buy-back contract is formed when we confirm acceptance following any inspection required by us, unless we expressly agree another point of acceptance with you.
18.5 If we decline the goods, or you decline a revised offer, we will arrange for the goods to be returned to you, subject to any applicable delivery arrangements agreed between us.
19. Buy Back Prices
19.1 Precious metal values fluctuate and the price available when you sell may be less than, equal to or greater than the amount you originally paid.
19.2 The amount originally paid for a graded or collectible product may also have included a premium above its underlying metal value.
There is no guarantee that this premium will be recovered when the product is resold.
19.3 Any buy-back price will reflect relevant market conditions and the characteristics of the goods at the time we make or confirm the offer.
20. Packaging and Delivery for Buy Backs
20.1 Please send goods only to the address confirmed by us for the relevant transaction.
20.2 Unless we expressly agree otherwise, you are responsible for ensuring that goods sent to us arrive safely and in the expected condition.
20.3 You should use appropriate protective packaging and an appropriately insured and tracked delivery service.
21. Buy Back Payment
21.1 Once we have received and inspected the goods and agreed the final purchase price with you, we will arrange payment in accordance with the agreed payment method.
21.2 If the goods differ materially from the description, quantity, authenticity, grade or condition on which an earlier price was based, we may make a revised offer before completing the purchase.
All Our Goods and Services
Clauses 22 to 27 apply to all goods and services supplied by us.
22. Events Beyond Our Control
22.1 We are not responsible for a failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
22.2 Where such circumstances materially affect an order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect and communicate with you where appropriate.
23. Our Liability To You
23.1 If we breach these Terms or are negligent, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by that breach or negligence.
Loss or damage is foreseeable where it is obvious that it will happen or where, at the time the contract was made, both we and you knew that it might reasonably happen.
23.2 Where you are acting as a consumer, we are not responsible for business losses arising from goods supplied primarily for private use, including loss of profit, revenue or business opportunity.
23.3 We are not responsible for losses that are not caused by our breach or negligence or that were not reasonably foreseeable.
23.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for:
(a) death or personal injury caused by negligence;
(b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
(c) breach of statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
24. Your Information
24.1 Personal information provided to us will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.
24.2 Our Privacy Policy explains the types of information we collect, how and why we use it, how long we retain it, the circumstances in which it may be shared and the rights available to you.
25. Complaints
25.1 If you are dissatisfied with our goods or services, please contact us in the first instance:
info@solomonglobalnews.com
25.2 We will seek to investigate and resolve complaints fairly and within a reasonable period.
25.3 Depending on the nature of the dispute and any applicable scheme, Alternative Dispute Resolution may be available.
Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from exercising rights available through the courts.
26. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
26.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in another jurisdiction, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the laws of that jurisdiction.
26.2 Subject to any mandatory rights available to consumers to bring proceedings elsewhere, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
27. General Terms
27.1 Third-party rights
Unless expressly stated otherwise, no person other than you and us has any right to enforce these Terms.
27.2 Transfer of rights
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
We may transfer our rights and obligations to another organisation, provided that doing so does not materially reduce your rights under the contract.
27.3 Severability
If any provision, or part of a provision, of these Terms is found to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect so far as legally possible.
27.4 No waiver
If we delay or fail to enforce a right on one occasion, this does not mean that we have waived that right or prevented ourselves from enforcing it later.
27.5 Headings
Clause headings are included for convenience and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.
Gold Grading Service
Clauses 28 to 33 apply where:
(a) you submit precious metal goods already in your possession to us for independent grading; or
(b) you purchase ungraded goods from us and separately ask us to arrange independent grading.
28. Acknowledgements
28.1 Where we arrange grading by the Professional Coin Grading Service ("PCGS") or another independent grading organisation, we act as facilitator for the independent grading service.
28.2 The grading itself is undertaken by the relevant third-party grading organisation and not by Solomon Global.
28.3 Your grading submission may also be subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant grading organisation.
Where applicable, these will be referred to in the submission documentation or made available to you.
28.4 Grading times are estimates only.
We cannot guarantee the turnaround times of an independent grading organisation and are not responsible for changes in their processing times that are outside our reasonable control.
29. Grading Submissions
29.1 To submit goods for grading, you may be required to complete a Solomon Global submission form ("Submission Form") and return it to the email address specified on that form.
29.2 Following receipt of the Submission Form, we will provide instructions for sending the relevant goods to us.
29.3 You are responsible for securely packaging goods sent to us.
Unless we expressly agree otherwise, you are responsible for the goods while they are being sent to us and should use an appropriately insured and tracked delivery service.
29.4 Once we receive your goods, we will send you confirmation ("Confirmation Email").
Unless otherwise agreed, a binding contract for the grading service is formed when we issue the Confirmation Email.
29.5 We may then submit the goods to the relevant grading organisation, subject to clause 33 and any applicable cancellation rights.
29.6 Once the grading process has been completed and the goods returned to us, we will notify you and arrange their onward delivery.
30. Submission Fee
30.1 The fee payable for grading ("Submission Fee") will be set out on our website, Submission Form, invoice or otherwise communicated to you before the relevant service is confirmed.
30.2 If an error or adjustment affecting the Submission Fee is identified before submission, we will contact you and, where appropriate, give you the option to confirm the corrected fee or cancel the submission.
31. Insurance
31.1 Where your goods are transported by us to the grading organisation under arrangements covered by our insurance, cover will be subject to the applicable policy terms and any declared-value limits communicated to you.
31.2 Unless otherwise notified to you:
(a) we will cover our standard insurance charges for submissions with a declared value below GBP 10,000;
(b) submissions with a declared value between GBP 10,000 and GBP 20,000 may be subject to an additional insurance charge equivalent to 0.5% of the declared value; and
(c) submissions with a declared value exceeding GBP 20,000 may be subject to an additional insurance charge equivalent to 1% of the declared value.
31.3 Any applicable insurance charge will be communicated before we become committed to the relevant insured shipment.
32. Grading Liability
32.1 Grading is undertaken independently by the relevant third-party grading organisation.
We do not determine or control the grade awarded.
32.2 We do not guarantee that a grading organisation will grade or encapsulate any particular item or award any particular grade.
32.3 Where a grading organisation rejects an item in accordance with its own grading standards or procedures, any refund of grading fees will depend upon the charges imposed on us and the terms applicable to that submission.
32.4 We are not responsible for the independent grading opinion, acts or omissions of a third-party grading organisation, except to the extent that a loss has been caused by our own breach or negligence or where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
33. Cancellation of Grading Submissions
33.1 Where you are a consumer and a statutory cancellation period applies to the grading service, you may normally cancel the service within 14 days after the contract is formed.
33.2 Where permitted by law, you may ask us to begin performance of the grading service before the end of that cancellation period.
If you expressly request early performance, your cancellation rights and any amount refundable may be affected once the service has begun or has been fully performed.
33.3 Where our Submission Form asks you expressly to consent to immediate performance, please read that consent carefully before agreeing to it.
33.4 To request cancellation of a Grading Submission, contact your account manager or email us and provide your submission or reference number.
33.5 If you request cancellation after we have incurred costs or after goods have been sent to an independent grading organisation, we may deduct or charge an amount that we are legally entitled to recover for services already performed and reasonable costs already incurred.
33.6 If the grading service has been fully performed following a valid request by you for performance to begin during the cancellation period, the statutory right to cancel may no longer apply.
33.7 Any refund due will normally be made using the payment method originally used, unless another method is agreed.
Important Reminder About Precious Metals Ownership
Physical precious metals can rise or fall in value.
Products sold at a premium above their underlying precious metal value, including certified and graded coins, may require time for changes in the underlying metal price and/or product-specific demand to offset that initial premium.
For this reason, Solomon Global's products are intended primarily for medium- to long-term ownership, and we recommend purchasing with the intention of holding for a minimum of five years.
This is a general holding-period guideline only. It does not guarantee that an item will rise in value over five years or any other period, and it does not prevent you from selling your goods earlier.
Solomon Global does not provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Customers should carry out their own research and seek independent professional advice where appropriate.
