PCGS Certified 2026 Tudor Beast Seymour Panther 1oz Gold Coin
Product Description
The PCGS Certified 2026 Tudor Beast Seymour Panther 1oz Gold Coin contains one troy ounce of 999.9 fine gold, carries the tenth and final design in The Royal Tudor Beasts bullion collection and has been graded and sealed by PCGS. It is UK legal tender with a £100 face value, exempt from Capital Gains Tax for UK residents and VAT-exempt as investment gold.
The PCGS 2026 Tudor Beast Seymour Panther 1oz Gold Coin design
David Lawrence’s Seymour Panther stands with its shield on a Tudor-inspired, surface-animated background, with Martin Jennings’ portrait of King Charles III on the obverse.
The beast that opened and closed the collection
The Seymour Panther was the design the Royal Mint chose to launch the Royal Tudor Beasts collection in 2022, and its 2026 bullion coin is the tenth and final release of the bullion series. It is one of Jane Seymour’s beasts, shown with flames issuing from its mouth and ears, the incensed panther of Seymour heraldry.
PCGS grading of the 2026 Tudor Beast Seymour Panther 1oz Gold Coin
For collectors finishing a graded Tudor Beasts set, a certified Seymour Panther closes the bullion series with its condition on record.
PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service) is an independent grading company that authenticates coins, grades them on the 70-point Sheldon scale and seals them in a tamper-evident holder. Bullion coins are graded in Mint State (MS), and the label shows the coin’s date, denomination, grade and a unique certification number that can be checked on the PCGS website.
We supply the coin at the grade shown on its holder. Because grades differ from coin to coin and the images are illustrative, please ask before ordering if a specific grade matters to you.

Why buy a PCGS 2026 Tudor Beast Seymour Panther 1oz Gold Coin?
It is the final coin of the bullion collection in a sealed PCGS holder, the natural last piece for a certified ten-coin set.
It remains a full ounce of gold with the tax advantages of UK legal tender.
Why buy 1oz gold coins?
The one-ounce coin is the standard unit of the gold market. Because gold is priced per troy ounce, a 1oz coin’s metal value is simple to follow, and the larger size usually carries a lower premium per gram than fractional coins. Compared with a large bar, a holding of 1oz coins can still be sold a coin at a time, so you keep flexibility without paying fractional-coin premiums.
Frequently asked questions
